I'm jumping in last minute to the Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon! This is the 11th year and it's hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It starts today and ends on the 27th of November. You can still sign up today if you'd like. I'm starting off a little paranormal romance I'm aiming for one holiday novella a day. And a book I started years ago at Christmas and want to finish. Oh and an ARC for Naughty-ish by L.B. Dunbar that I'm really looking forward to. Follow along on my Instagram for the Twelve Days of Bookstagram.

We grabbed white hot chocolates from Starbucks and drove to Christmas Tree Lane to enjoy some holiday lights.  It was nice to spend some time together.  I spent the evening watching Mariah Carey's Christmas special and baking M&M's Christmas cookie bars . So my evenings have been spent on the couch under a blanket reading or watching something.  I didn't have any book to review this week so I got to read a few Christmas novellas.  Currently Reading Books I started reading in September and had to shelf for ARCs On The Blog Last Week King's Vow by Ella Kade Sunday Post No. 50 Book Series To Finish: Sibby Series by Samantha Garman Natural Disaster by Skye Warren & Amelia Wilde 2023 Audiobook Challenge ExcerptReveal: Filthy Lies by Serena Akeroyd...

Actually, I was supposed to work on it and by the time I remembered, I'd already shut the computer down. And I was just too tired to delay bedtime.  I reached my Goodreads goal last week! I tried to keep my ARC requests as low as possible this month. Because I wanted to be able to read as many Christmas novellas as I'd want and maybe jump into a few ARCs for January. I'm feeling a lot better these days, I get a little cough attack here and there.  I watched a few Christmas movies last week.  Currently Reading   On the Blog Last Week November Wrap-Up Book Serie...

See the rules here  Sunday Post Meme .  This Week I started the week getting my covid booster and enjoying a sushi lunch after. I got a slight fever that night but that was it.  I made some cookies for my mom while she was in town.  Sugar cookies and Almond butter cookies.  I wanted to make peanut butter cookies for Thanksgiving night  but I got lazy.  Thursday we ate lots of food and spent time with family.  I spent most of the night with my nephew.  He's only one year old. Very cute and full of energy. I held his hands and walked around with him.  I spent Saturday writing all the past-due reviews I needed to finish while watc...

See the rules here  Sunday Post Meme .  This Week My sister and nephew both celebrated birthdays this week but we're far away from each other. But I did get to sing to the nephew over facetime. Other than that it felt like the week passed me by. I noticed that I haven't read too many books this month. It feels a bit frustrating. I almost finished season 3 of Virgin River, I had to stop in the middle of the season finale.   I did watch a Christmas movie. We ordered a new Christmas tree. We already set it up!  Is it early?  Probably. But the kid was eager to set it up and decorate. I'm enjoying the glow. Now to work on the lights outside. Reviews On...

So the days have been lazy and it felt like we were hibernating.  I also tried to avoid all the election night coverage. I started watching and seeing the results in Texas and Georgia was disheartening so I switched it off and did some reading. I spent some time catching up on the first half of season three of Virgin River.   Reviews On The Blog October Wrap-up Audio Reviews Currently Reading Up Next Books I Purchased None Freebies None Have a Great Week! xo Alicia

See the rules here  Sunday Post Meme .  This Week First things first, I managed to get my ballot out! Voting done ✔ And I received a verification text that it was received. We spent Monday evening enjoying turkey burgers and watching the 2018 Halloween movie. Tuesday I decided to get back on the yoga mat. I don't even know when I stopped or why. I've been feeling off and waking up every morning feeling sore and stiff, especially in my neck and shoulder area. So far so good. We finished out the day watching Coco. We got rain on Wednesday and the temps dropped, so I pulled the sweaters out, and the extra blankets.  We've been enjoying hot coffee and/or hot cocoa i...

It was gory and campy, but I enjoyed it.  I spent most of Saturday at my cousin's house. His little boy is turning one on Halloween, so we celebrated on Saturday. It was nice to spend time together. The hour-long drive there and back was the only bummer.  Reviews On The Blog Gold In Locks by Alta Hensley Spells For Forgetting by Adrienne Young Witchful Thinking by Celestine Martin Half Truths: Then by Elena M. See the rules here  Sunday Post Meme .  This Week After all the great fall weather, we had two days in the middle of the week where the temps rose to the 90's. Thankfully we're back to cooler weather now.  I watched the original Candyman movie on Monday. It's still creepy. I want to watch the newest one written by Jordan Peele.  Thursday night was the best. I watched Poltergeist in the dark with the windows open and it was giving creepy fall vibes.  Saturday I watched Misery, not the scariest but Annie is pretty unhinged. I've never read the book so I'll be adding that to my TBR. I drank more chai. I ended the night with Frankenweenie.  Reviews On...

See the rules here  Sunday Post Meme .  This Week More Halloween movies were consumed!  Sunday night I got nice and cozy with a hot chai, apple cinnamon bread, and Hocus Pocus 2. I loved it Then I stayed up late to watch the new Interview with a Vampire series on AMC. I also enjoyed this. As someone who loves the book series and didn't really love the movie, this updated version is great.  I watched the Exorcist and the new Nightmare on Elm St. And while their not necessarily Halloween movies I also watched The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.  I got to wear light sweaters this week! We got some light rain overnight on Monday evening, Friday evening, and m...
