This Week To all the mothers, and mother figures have a wonderful day. My mom is in town so we have plans to grab dinner later today.   Other than that the week was fairly quiet.  I got quite a bit of reading done. Not for any reason in particular. I just couldn't stay on top of things.  I've fallen behind on reviews and prepping my blog spots ahead of time.  Then I had an issue with my kindle unlimited subscription and it was canceled before the end of the month. I was ready to finally take the leap and sign-up for the two-year subscription deal but the website makes it impossible to find.  I lost all the books I had queued to read. This Week I spent Easter Sunday with my Grandmother and my aunts and uncles. We spent most of the day hanging out and talking. I even got a little box of Easter goodies. I got another week all to myself.  I caught up on sending the review links that were due. It's begun to get warmer, so I made the switch to iced coffee. This Week I missed two weeks of The Sunday Post because of course I didn't prepare them ahead of time and I totally let my journaling slip, so I had to go back and fill in what I'd done.  My baby brother turned 15 on March 9th. My mom came into town and we all went to dinner together. He requested sushi and it was so good. My mom was in town again last weekend because my aunt's funeral was held on Monday.  It's been nice having this extra time with her even if it's not under the best circumstances. This Week We got a short break from the rain last Sunday. Then more rain Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We finally saw the Sun on Thursday but it's been cold. So cold that I've planned meals that must be cooked low and slow. Anything to keep a constant heat source going besides the heater. I had this funny feeling so I had them take a test and they were all positive.  I did not have it and I never had it but I did quarantine with everyone. Just to be safe. I felt bad for my Dad, he had plans to go see his sister that day but she'd been battling cancer. She lost her battle on Wednesday, and he got to spend time with her before she transitioned. Then we got some wild weather in California. The temps dropped and some areas got heavy rain and others got snow. But I did find myself sleeping and napping more. Maybe that helped me avoid the sickness. I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and missed a few days of yoga. And journaling was a bust this week.
