My Year In Books 2024

Image
This is a snapshot of my Goodreads stats. I exceeded my reading goal. Which I love. I think I'll keep 200 as my goal for 2025. I still have quite a few NetGalley ARCs that I need to finish, so I need to work on that next year. I chose Binge Listener as my Goal for 2024, which was 20-30 books. I only managed to read 11 audiobooks last year. I'm not sure if I should keep the same goal or lower it. Happy Reading

Raising my daughter to be strong and independent. 2. My job. When my new assistant walks into the office, I become good at ignoring her. She’s sassy. Smart. Beautiful. Much younger and off-limits for more reasons than I can count. That doesn’t mean I want her any...

Hugh Brinsley-Norton, the Duke of Kingsland, is in need of a duchess. However, restoring the dukedom—left in ruins by his father—to its former glory demands all his time, with little room for sentiment. He places an advert encouraging the single ladies of the ton to write why they should be the one chosen, and leaves it to his efficient secretary to select his future wife. If there exists a more unpleasant task in the world than deciding who is to marry the man you love, Penelope Pettypeace certainly can’t imagine what it might be. Still, she is determined to find the perfect bride for her clueless, yet ruthlessly charming employer. But when an anonymous note threatens to reveal truths best...
