Reading took a backseat as we dealt with evacuating and getting back home.  I've been back in my house for a week now but we've had no gas. So no heat, hot water or cooking. It's been a little hectic but I'm lucky. My Aunt, Uncle and cousins lost their home in the fire. Altadena might not be my hometown but it is my neighbor and it's overwhelming to see it destroyed. This Week It was in the 90s all week and today is the last day of the heatwave. I've said it before but I'll say it again, I'm so over the heat. I still need to put up my fall decorations.  I might do that at some point this week. I'm itching to bake too!
