The first book in a new series, and I'm all in. I liked Tierney and Ramsay from the moment we met them.

Tierney is ready for a fresh start. Her parents passed away the year before, and she just discovered that her boyfriend has been cheating on her. She relinquished the rights to the hotel empire her family had built; instead, she's creating something all her own and renovating a B&B that she'll eventually manage.

While exploring, she meets Ramsay and his dog Akiva. He's a grumpy contractor who will be helping with the renovations at the bed and breakfast. To make matters worse, she ends up stranded on the little island he calls home.

There is an age gap between them, but it doesn't stop Tierney from wanting to pursue something with Ramsay. The plan is to keep it casual, as they both have secrets to protect. But when trouble seems to land on their doorstep, will they fight for what they have or will they walk away?
