I loved the conclusion to this duet. I was so sure a certain someone was the bad guy until the real bad guy was revealed!

Guinevere is home from Italy. Her dream trip turned somewhat into a nightmare. Her father is upset that she defied his wishes and traveled there. He barely speaks to her.

Then there's Raffaele, who lied to her. But her heart still belongs to him.

When she is attacked in Michigan, she never expected to be attacked at home, much less to see him step in and rescue her, but here he is. And she finds herself right back where she started.

Raffaele is taking her back to Italy, where he can keep her safe and try his best to earn her trust back. She's reluctant at first but ultimately agrees to go to keep her family safe. He'll need to find who ordered the attack on her and how it all ties back to their families.

He hopes that in the end, Gwen will choose him as she grows stronger in herself.
