I was introduced to these characters a few years ago through the Belles & Mobsters series, so I was excited to see how they had grown and what they were up to now.

From the moment my twin sister set eyes on Matteo, she claimed him as the one. It didn't matter that we were kids; in her heart, she believed they were destined to be together.

Now, all these years later, things feel different. Everywhere she goes, Matteo is there. Lurking in the shadows, even in broad daylight, always watching.

She's not sure when she caught his attention but she can't seem to stop her heart from trembling whenever he's around.

It's become hard to resist.

So she feels betrayed when his engagement to her sister is announced.
