My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I liked Roman when we first met him in Aldo's book. Before the end of his book, I loved him. Effie too, of course. He was so sure he'd never fall in love but of course he did, it just took him a little while to figure out. That last little twist was pretty good because I didn't see it coming.

Roman Costas rescued Effie because he felt guilty for what happened to her. And once he had her he had the overwhelming need to protect her.

He never expected her to bring out such fierce feelings from him.

He never could have predicted that she'd become his world.

He'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe no matter the consequences.

Meet Melanie Moreland
