Review: Mind Games by Nora Roberts
As they do each June, the Foxes have driven the winding roads of Appalachia to drop off their children for a two-week stay at their grandmother’s. My Review
I enjoyed this; it was a page-turner for me.
Thea Fox and her brother spend two weeks every June with their Grandmother in Appalachia. She looks forward to the time with her Grammie, running free, and helping around the farm.
One night, she and her Grammie both wake up from the same nightmare. And while they've never talked about the special kind of sight they share, as soon as they make eye contact, they know something terrible has happened.
With their parents gone, Thea and her brother will now be living with Grammie at Redbud Hollow. And thanks to her vision, Thea was able to put her parents' killer behind bars.
Over time, Thea makes friends, builds a career, and finds love. Her ability to see into minds and souls is still there, but it feels like a curse sometimes. Because she and her parents' killer have the same abilities, and even though he is miles away, she can hear his thoughts and she knows he's not done with her yet.
