Dove! The cute kid from another of Tia's books is all grown up and Maverick's love interest.

Maverick has been in love with Dove since they were teenagers.
Now he's a hockey star, and he still has feelings for Dove.
Now she's in Los Angeles and living with him in his home.

Dove is in town looking for ways to save her family farm and staying with Maverick. With his muscles, dimples, and smoldering hazel eyes, he's a distraction.

Her hometown's rich bully is threatening to own her family farm and her, so it's enough for Dove to claim Maverick as her boyfriend.

It started off as a lie but with every kiss, every touch, and every stolen moment, reality starts to blur.

But as much as they enjoy their time together, the reality is that when her semester is over, she'll head home.
