Review: The Scandal Of Rose by Joanna Shupe,

When actress Rose McDaniel agrees to become the mistress of the formidable tycoon Moore Emerson, she knows the part all too well: fancy champagne, opulent parties, and late nights full of wickedness.

The arrangement with Moore suits her perfectly. He’s generous and caring, a fantastic lover. Best of all, she’ll soon have enough money saved to secure her future independence for good.

Except Rose has made a terrible mistake.

She’s fallen in love with him.

And now he’s betrothed to someone else.

The Scandal of Rose: A Gilded Age Novella
by Joanna Shupe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this novella! It might be short but it packs plenty of story along with the steam!

Actress Rose McDaniel doesn't aspire to become a mistress, so her rule is never more than one night with any man. Until she meets tycoon Moore Emerson.

They agree to one night but Moore does everything in his power to prolong their time together. Their nights are filled with passion.

Rose will have enough money to secure her independence when their time together comes to an end.

Except Rose made a terrible mistake. She fell in love.

And now Moore is engaged to someone else.

Thanks so much to the author, for this ARC to review.
