Ugh... I didn't want it to be over! Halo and Arianne had great steamy scenes, and I love the support he offers her.

Arianne has been working hard to leave her abusive husband, and her sister's funeral gives her an opening to escape. There she learns that she has a niece. Her life is chaotic at the moment, she has no money, no job, no place to live, and no way to care for her niece.

But Halo offers her a place to live, to heal and take care of her niece while he looks for the person responsible for his father's and her sister's deaths.

While vengeance is what motivates Halo at the moment, one look at Arianne's bruised face and he feels the need to offer her protection. He likes having her in his space but he doesn't do relationships and she deserves more. He never imagined taking care of a baby either but together they are becoming a little family.

He's ready to claim them and protect them at all cost.

Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know!
