Loved!
I love a good second chance especially when you throw in a secret baby. Also, this is the first book I read in the series and I wasn't at all lost. And I'm going back to read from the beginning.
Once upon a time Viola and Miles were in love but when he joined the Outlaws she turned down his marriage proposal and his cut. To add insult to injury she's turned their love story into a steamy bestseller, complete with the happily ever after they didn't have.
Worse, she's using his last name as her pseudonym.
When men show up at her home looking for the Outlaw, Miles is the first person she turns to for help. But she has a lot of explaining to do when he comes face to face with the little girl who has the same blue eyes and dimples as his.
She's going to hate him for the violence this brings to her doorstep but he'll do anything to protect and keep his daughter and the woman he never stopped loving.
