Remember to check your triggers. Alistair! So angry! And I can't believe all the deception he and Eloise endured. And Massimo seemed more unhinged than when he was first introduced. And those final reveals, chef's kiss!
Enemies in college, he pranked her and she almost ruined his life, they haven't seen or spoken to one another in ten years. Exactly how Alistair wants it, but now Eloise is back on the East Coast. Even worse after all this time she now works for his law firm.
She's now the target of his malice and revenge. He buries her in paperwork and she's only allowed to address him as Mr. Black or sir.
As much as Alistair claims to be fine with this whole arrangement, there's no denying that he still wants Eloise. No matter how dangerous that may be.
