I'm a little sad that the series is over but I loved every single book. We finally learned what separated Lorelei and Xander. I wasn't expecting that and it's heartbreaking. Lorelei did the thing most of us do and kept it all to herself. Xander was the recipient of her anger and he willingly accepted it. Check your triggers.
Since returning to Salem, keeping away from Xander has been unavoidable. Between fighting the witch hunter and working to break the Blood Moon curse, Lorelei finds herself slowly softening towards the man she's loved all her life.
Xander never stopped loving Lorelei even when she was pushing him away. He's done giving her space, especially with the evil threat ramping up the attacks. They now need to work with the rest of the core six, their coven, and the witches of Hallows End to finally defeat the wicked hunter.
