Review: Heated Rivals by Katee Robert

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katee Robert continues her smoking-hot series about the O'Malleys-wealthy, powerful, and full of scandalous family secrets.

Carrigan O'Malley has always known her arranged marriage would be more about power and prestige than passion. But after one taste of the hard-bodied, whiskey-voiced James Halloran, she's ruined for anyone else. Too bad James and his family are enemy number 1.

Hallorans vs. O'Malleys-that's how it's always been. James should be thinking more about how to expand his family's empire instead of how silky Carrigan's skin is against his and how he can next get her into his bed. Those are dangerous thoughts. But not nearly as dangerous as he'll be if he can't get what he wants: Carrigan by his side for the rest of their lives.

My Review

Heated Rivals by Katee Robert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸ

Carrigan and James have so much chemistry but with things so strained between their families I wondered how these two would finally end up with one another. That part was pretty twisty and angsty but Carrigan stands up for herself in the end grabbing hold of her HEA.

Carrigan O'Malley has stalled as long as possible, she must now pick from a list given to her by her father, her future husband. She has always known that her marriage would be about her family gaining power and not for love.

One steamy night with James Halloran and she's ruined for anybody else. The only problem? Their families are enemies. That's how it's always been.

James has recently taken over the family business. But his focus is pulled by thoughts of Carrigan. Despite the family rivalry, he wants Carrigan by his side for the rest of his life.

Thank you so much to the author, Forever and NetGalley for this ARC to review.
