What a great crossover! I haven't read anything before from the Disciples series but I'll definitely be picking that series up.
Cade was easy to like right away and while Belle had issues, she still had the strength to save herself when she needed to.
Cade is a part of the Five Points Mob and he's been sent to Los Angeles to rescue Isabelle from an MC cult that's holding her captive, or so that's what he's been told. But he quickly realizes that they've been given false information. So he'll need to figure out the best way to get her to New York.
When Cindy has a particularly bad day, Cade takes advantage to swoop in and rescue her when all her friends fail to recognize that she's in trouble. And when they give her a hard time after a brief hospital stay Cade steps in to defend her and continue to establish and build trust with her.
He's able to convince her to travel with him. He convinces her to go to New York with him, the last place she wants to go. His plan is to get her there and then explain that they've been lied to and that her father mistreated her.
He'll keep her safe from her father.
