What a steamy read! I enjoyed almost every second of it. Check your triggers. Our heroine is a trafficking victim, and we get glimpses of her experience.
I can't wait for the next book!

When Elsie spots Michael she takes the opportunity to escape. What she wasn't counting on was becoming trapped in his house.

Michael knows she's been there the whole time but takes this as his opportunity to force her to marry him. This will protect her from the people she escaped; all he's asking for is a year. Then he'll set her free.

The more time they spend together and the more she spends bonding with his daughter, Michael wonders if he might just be worthy of her.

Meet Lilian Harris



For Lilian, a love of writing began with a love of books. From Goosebumps to romance novels with sexy men on the cover, she loved them all. It's no surprise that at the age of eight she started writing poetry and lyrics, and hasn't stopped writing since.

She was born in Azerbaijan, and currently resides on Long Island, N.Y. with her husband, three kids, and a dog named Gatorade. Even though she has a law degree, she isn't practicing. When she isn't writing or reading, Lilian is baking or cooking up a storm. And once the kids are in bed, there's usually a glass of red in her hand. Can't just survive on coffee alone!
