Review: Hunter Avenged by N.J. Walters

It’s taken Viking hunter Sven Knutson six frustrating months to find her. To track down the angel responsible for compromising the Forgotten Brotherhood and waking the drakon. She may be clever. Resourceful. But no one ever gets away from Sven. Ever.

All Rivka longed for as an angel was a chance to serve on Earth and help humans. Instead, it all went impossibly, horribly wrong, and she still doesn’t understand how or even why. All she knows is that she’s on the run—not only from Heaven’s dangerous elite guard, but also from the Brotherhood, who want answers.

She might just have to trust the immortal Viking whose icy blue eyes make her feel almost wickedly human. Because someone wants Rivka dead and the Brotherhood eliminated. Someone powerful enough to take on the most dangerous assassins who have ever lived. Someone who could unleash the fury of both Heaven and Hell…and Rivka is the key.

Each book in the Forgotten Brotherhood series is STANDALONE:

My Review

Hunter Avenged by N.J. Walters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was surprised and happy to see this series had another book coming. This book featured Sven, Bjorn's son from the fourth book in the series. This a standalone but I would recommend reading the series in order as the stories are connected.
I loved that Rivka was not intimidated by Sven. Or any of the men from the Brotherhood that she met. Sven and Rivka teleport to various places as they search for a book that might hold to key to finding out who set this all in motion.

Sven how been searching the globe to track down the angel who compromised the Forgotten Brotherhood and had a hand in waking the drakon.

Rivka had always wanted to serve on Earth and help humans. But something went wrong and she realized that she'd been a pawn in someone else game. She's on the run from not only the brotherhood but also an elite group of angels.

When they finally cross paths, Rivka makes the choice to trust the immortal Viking man. Because the person who wants Rivka dead and the Brotherhood gone is powerful. Someone willing to upset the balance that's been in place.

Thanks so much to the author and Entangled Publishing for this ARC to review.
