I was in from that preview in Second Chance Rival.
The tension was great even when it was driving me crazy. It was hard to put down.
We get glimpses of their past to better understand what caused the rift between them.
Paige and Adrian haven't seen each other in ten years.
She loved him.
He easily walked away from her.
He lost him and his brother, her best friend, all at once.
Now he's looking for an assistant and Paige is mentioned
She immediately says no when she comes face to face with him.
But when he learns that she's in danger, he completely takes over her life.
