Ace of Diamonds by Alta Hensley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After that ending in the second book, I was curious about how everything would play out. I loved it!
It was heartbreaking to see the terrible way Lyriope was treated by Bryant but not surprising. He's definitely the kind of villain that is easy to despise. I love that Nick is not afraid to stand up to him or any of the Morelli's.

It was great to see them finally together in the end and getting their HEA.

After losing Lyriope, Nick is back in New York keeping close tabs on his girl. And if it weren't for his head of security he would have already busted into the Morelli home to get her back.

He is planning another Wonderland evening and Morelli's are invited. He doesn't want them to think they've won.

The game is set in motion when Lyriope shows up at his party. He will get his queen back.
