There were scenes in this book that were deliciously steamy and every dirty sentence out of Laz's mouth had me blushing.
Lazzaro Rosetti was a playboy. His family has forced him into an arranged marriage in order to collect his inheritance. They think this will curb his wild behavior. And his wife wants the benefits of the Rosetti name.
Laz hates his wife and her family. He decides to direct all his hate on Mia. His stepdaughter. He takes every opportunity to invade her space and whisper dirty things to her. Until one night things cross a line.
No matter how much Mia tries to stir clear of Laz the attraction is becoming too hard to resist.
Soon Laz is cooking up a plan to get out of his marriage and keep Mia forever.
This was my first time reading something from this author and really enjoyed her writing. I'm looking forward to checking out her backlist.
