What a deliciously dirty talker Tristan was! I loved Belle and Tristan, this couple has great chemistry! Belle is strong and not easily won over by Tristan. In flashbacks, we learn about their teenage relationship, how they fell in love, and ultimately what kept them apart.

Their families have been enemies for as long as they can remember.

She was his first and only love. They did a lot of sneaking around to keep their relationship a secret. When their grandfathers learn about their relationship, Tristan was sent away. He must not contact her or she'll be sent away as well, so he stayed away.

Now the grandfathers want them to merge their families together. By marriage and they must produce an heir.

Tristan agrees because even if she hates him, he plans on winning back the woman he's always loved.
