I'm so happy this couple got their happy ending. Especially Eredine. She's had quite a few traumatic experiences throughout this series and we finally learn what lead to her hiding in the highlands with the Adairs.
I never expected for Arran to have the events he had that kept him away.
Since his return home, Arran Adair has bulldozed his way into Eredine's life. He doesn't treat her like she's fragile and wants a genuine friendship with her. The attraction is definitely there and when Ery realizes that she trusts him, she makes an unexpected request. One night together, no strings attached.
Arran knows that one night will never be enough, but for the sake of their friendship agrees to her terms. And when he doesn't make their daily run the next morning, Ery is ready to write him off but when he explains, she's ready to give their new relationship a real try.
Until their pasts come back to haunt them.
