This was my first L.P. Lovell and I loved it so much! Even though it was to be continued.
It wasn't a cliffhanger but there is more story to be told and I can't wait.

Giovanni runs the NY outfit and as part of an alliance with another family, he's set to marry mafia princess Emilia, who has always known that her family would use her as a pawn.

When Emilia is called to her father's office she was not expecting to see her uncles there. They inform her of her upcoming wedding. Her uncle threatens her and when she says a few choice words to her father in locks her in a cell in the basement.

Next thing we know Emilia is on the run with one of her brothers. She wants him to go back but he insists on going with her to protect her.

And before they've put too many miles between them and the families, her fiancé has caught up with her. And while he was once indifferent to her, she now intrigues him. But he has no plans to touch her until she's begging for it.

This one is a slow burn. But it's still steamy.
