Oh my, James was so angry for so long, I wondered if these two would ever get together. Thankfully they do, they just needed to learn how to communicate better with each other. And share their individual truths with each other.

Mina Hewitt wants to help her husband get a divorce. He helped her years ago when he married her and now she wants to return the favor. But to be granted a divorce Mina will be made to be an adulteress and her reputation will take the biggest hit.

On the eve of her downfall, she meets Mr. Dale. The first man to ever make her heart race. And while she will soon be able to engage in a new relationship, no respectable man will have her.

James Dale was definitely interested in Mina but when he realized that she was married and being accused of cheating on her husband. He's so angry that he was ever attracted to her, he finds himself observing her divorce proceedings, letting his fury grow.

Months later his son comes to James expressing his desire to marry a widow he's fallen in love with. She just happens to be the daughter of the infamous divorcee, Mina.

When the young couple elopes, Mr. Dale and Wilhelmina must work together to reach the couple in time. And James begins to realize that Mina is more than she seems and she's definitely keeping secrets about her former marriage.
