A Duke Worth Fighting For

My rating: 5 of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great conclusion to this series. Margery has been a favorite character of mine from the beginning so it was great to finally get her full story. It was easy to love awkward, scarred Daniel as well. Lots of angst for these two, as they fall in love. And good plot twists/surprises, I couldn't read fast enough.
I'm sad the series is ending but I'm looking forward to reading it all over again.

Daniel, now the Duke of Carlisle, was wounded while serving at the battle of Waterloo. He has come to Synne to practice his social skill before having to head to London. Where he'll have to spend time around the ton if he wants to find a wife. Someone who won't be scared off by his scars.

Margery, still mourning the passing of her husband, has just received a blackmail letter accusing her husband of desertion. Not sure how she'll pay off the blackmailer, she offers to help the Duke find a bride. She just never imagined beginning attracted to someone other than her husband.

Thanks so much to Forever, the author and NetGalley for this ARC to review.
