Wow! This book was better than I anticipated. The angst. That twist. Gave me all the feels and I would read it again right now if I wasn't on a deadline. But I will definitely be picking up a physical copy of this one, so I can read it over and over again.
Eden Murphy needed to earn extra cash. So she went to a club she had no business walking into and waited for the owner so she could interview.
One look at her and Trent Lawson was ready to send her away. She was too sweet and innocent for his establishment. He needed to keep her away from his darkness. Even if he was attracted to her.
When they discover that Eden is also his son's teacher, they know they have to keep their distance.
But when a threatening message is left for Trent on Eden's car, he takes her home and vows to keep her safe.
