I will say that I never read the series On Dublin Street, that came before this new series. So I wasn't familiar with Beth's parents and their back story but I was still able to enjoy this book.
Beth is surprised to see she has a new neighbor, Callan Keen—one of Scotland's most famous and hottest professional footballers. What's shocking though is that he's still holding a grudge about what did or didn't happen between them years ago.
Her social media management company keeps her busy enough that she doesn't have time to worry about this gorgeous blast from the past. Yet every time they run into one another she can't help engaging in a battle of wits with him.
When high profile client opportunity arises, Beth needs Callan's help. She needs a fake date and he needs her to facilitate a meeting with her dad.
