This is Liana and Giovanni, and it was good. Remember to check your triggers. Liana has been through so much but raising her adoptive daughter has helped her maintain her humanity. Giovanni was impressed with her when they first met at her wedding to his uncle years ago. It was brief but learning all she's been through makes him wish he'd taken her away at that time.

Liana has spent her life trapped in cages, first by her mother, then to the villain she was married off to, among a few. It was bleak until she receives a flicker of light, her adoptive daughter.

And when she gets taken away, Liana knew this day would eventually come but that didn't make it any easier.

Giovanni kidnaps her to "save her" and get her back to her twin.

But he also knows that when her connection to the Marabella Agreements comes to light, she will need his protection, through marriage of course, and she's done being a pawn.
