Wow! At first, I had a hard time liking Nero. He's hot and cold with Rieta and it felt off but I love this series and trust Lilith's writing so when it was all revealed, I could breathe a sigh of relief.
Also, remember to check your triggers.
Nero was once her savior.
Then one night he disappeared without a trace. Rieta searched for him for months, praying for his return.
And when he does return, things are very different.
He stalks her every move. He won't tell her where he's been and accuses her of being unfaithful. She can't talk to anyone about what's going on.
When she asks the housekeeper what happened the night her husband disappeared the truth will finally be revealed.
