I loved this book so much! This cover is amazing!
The situations these two repeatedly find themselves in had me laughing out loud. He may be grumpy (which I love) but she's able to get under his skin and bring out a side of him no one has ever seen.

Alexander Bane has gone through so many assistants since his last one retired. When HR couldn't find someone suitable Bane took over the search. They even have a little bet going.

Magnolia Myers is a little late for her interview but manages to impress Bane enough to give her a chance.

She quickly becomes invaluable. But she also becomes a distraction.

He grunts, growls, and demands. And she responds with snark, wit, and a smile.

Magnolia is quickly becoming his favorite person and he hates it.

One kiss and the fun is about to begin.

Meet Melanie Moreland

New York Times/USA Today bestselling author Melanie Moreland, lives a happy and content life in a quiet area of Ontario with her beloved husband of thirty-plus years and their rescue cat, Amber. Nothing means more to her than her friends and family, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.
