Before reading this I didn't have any strong feelings toward Alek. Now? He's a new book boyfriend!
And of course, I love Lena too! The ease with which she teases that man, chef's kiss.
Normally their paths would never have crossed. But Alek is looking for Lena's former roommate. So he shows up at the theater where she works. His green eyes are piercing, his hands are covered in gloves, he's wearing all black and he looks like a hitman. He's there to gather any information she might have about her roommate.
He's been looking for the dancer for months but the moment he laid eyes on Lena, his world changed. She's a ray of sunshine that lights up the shadows he walks in. He finds himself unable to stay away from her, even drafting a contract that states she'll only sing for him. He wants more than just her voice.
