Whoa, I can't wait to get the next book!
This ends in a cliffhanger of sorts so be prepared.
Ophelia has been protected her life by her father and Silas, so when her future father-in-law orders her fiance to discipline her, her sense of safety is shattered. And that scene is tough to get through so: Remember to check your triggers.

Ophelia Hart grew up next door to the Fox family, including Silas Cruz, the illegitimate son, and his mother. Over the years he's rescued her countless times from his younger half-brother.

He hadn't been in contact over the last two years and when he returns, she's engaged to that very brother.

There's always been something between them and that pull is stronger than ever. She's trying her best to fight it especially after their last encounter.

But she's in danger and he'll do anything to protect her.
