That prologue! It drew me in and I was misty-eyed before it was even over.
I loved Grumpy and Doc's story so much!
Remington is a single father of two adorable kids. He's recently taken over Wild River Ranch from his father and he's finally ready to admit that he needs help. His sister offered to help him find someone but the last person he expected to interview was the beautiful woman who works at the coffee shop he visits every day.
The moment Erin stepped into Bitterroot Valley, she knew she was home. The slower pace and friendly people suit her better than Seattle. Plus she loves her job at the coffee shop. Even the hot grumpy who comes in every afternoon can discourage her love for small-town life.
When she runs into car trouble Erin would rather find a second job than touch her trust fund. So imagine her surprise when Grumpy opens the door at the ranch where she's going to interview for the nanny position.
She quickly falls for his children and the ranch and soon both are having a hard time keeping their relationship strictly professional.
When her past threatens her present, she's ready to walk away to keep everyone safe but Remington isn't ready to let her go.
