My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this, even though Sutton drove me a little batty at first. What I really enjoyed was that I was transported to this small town and fell for these characters right away.

This was my first time reading something form this author and I'm looking forward to see how the rest of the series comes along.

Tired of her mother's digs, Sutton made up a fake fiance in a moment of desperation.
When looking for suggestions she turned to her best friends. River Kershaw was mentioned.
He's considered the town's playboy but being her complete opposite might work in her favor.

He's tall, strong, and HOT, there's no denying it.

So they take the time to get to know each other better and before they know it, sparks are flying.
Pretending might not be that hard.
