I loved Olivia and Cillian's chemistry. She didn't immediately fall for any of his charming tactics and I enjoyed that. After all the drama it felt like it was over all too soon and I wanted more of them.
I also enjoyed getting to know the side characters that were introduced.

Olivia Rashidi came to Boston to get away from her family. For years her father never acknowledged her and on his death told her half-brother to bring into the family fold. But in order to protect herself and most importantly her daughter she snuck away.

When she meets Cillian O'Malley she recognizes his family name and its ties to the mob. She tries to stay away but when he offers a casual hook-up with no strings attached she goes for it.

Cillian is still reeling from his brother's death leaves him vulnerable. Not that anyone realizes except for Olivia. Pretty soon they're both falling for one another. When Olivia needs help Cillian is more than willing to step up and protect her and her daughter, even though she's part of a rival crime family.
