Loved every single second of this book! And of course I got to the really tense parts right as I had to go to bed. And when I finally got back to it I was on the edge of my seat!

Paisley Dae has recently returned to her hometown. She's headed to teach a little girl how to ride her horse when she backs into a shiny Range Rover. The driver looks like a gorgeous fallen angel, with the attitude of a jerk. When she finally makes it to her job, that very same man is her new boss and glaring at her.

Paisley immediately falls for Evelyn and begins to feel very protective over her. She also drives Caleb crazy. But seeing the relationship that develops between Evie and Paisley makes him rethink firing her.

He's trying to stay focused on protecting Evie and trying to figure out who killed his sister.

He's told Paisley he's not a good man but they finally gives into the attraction they feel.

And as they begin to settle into a routine, the past rears its ugly head and sends their peace into a tailspin.
