That ending! So much happened in those last few pages and I can't wait to see what happens next.
I did have a hard time connecting with Aurora during the first part of the book. In part because of her hatred towards Jen and just how angry she seemed to be all the time. But I think where it turned around for me was when we learned how ashamed she is of her kinks. Also, how vulnerable she really is when she realizes that the mystery man she's been communicating with is Hunter.
Hunter was pretty easy to like. I mean the man went to learn all about the things that Aurora liked so he could fulfill those needs for her. He also discovered things about the lifestyle that suited him.
Hunter has recently become the Don of the Camorra. It wasn't something he wanted but he really didn't have any other choice.
He and Aurora haven't spoken in over ten years but the wedding of her older brother is the perfect excuse to see her in person. To begin his plans to win her back.
