I loved this book so much! Caleb and his dirty talk! The angst was good and so was the grovel. What I wasn't expecting was that little twist at the end. This does move back and forth on the timeline of their relationship, which isn't always my favorite but I didn't mind it here. It worked well as parts of their story are revealed. I'm adding this to my read again pile.
Evie's roommate invites her to a fraternity party and ends up ditching her. There she meets Caleb. He's hot and he's older but they hit it off. They spend the next together getting to know each other and eventually spend the night together.
The next morning they part with promises to see other again. When she arrives at her brother's house she learns that he is her brother's agent and acts as if they've never met. Her brother is introducing them so that Caleb can look out for Evie while he's out of state.
Of course, neither wants this little arrangement but Caleb feels obligated to his friend.
Years later he finds himself in need of a nanny and she's forced to take the position after he's fired every eligible candidate her company has sent.
He constantly flirts with her even though she's told him she's unavailable. Watching her with his child only makes him love her more and he's realizing that he might have to take different tactics to show her that he's never stopped loving her.
