I love Sienna and Parker! Especially Parker! He's a grumpy hero who wears glasses when he reads and he's totally comfortable reading bodice rippers. Love it! This one is definitely going into my favorites/reread pile.
After a traumatizing event, they must flee Chicago together. Not sure where they are headed or if they'll ever be back, Parker tells Sienna they are headed to Montana. To a place called Redemption Ranch where his brother and sister are currently living. When they arrive they don't get a friendly welcome but Sienna tells his brother they're married in order to break the tension.
Sienna suggests they go through with the fake marriage so she won't be able to testify against him. They agree they will have to also make sure to convince everyone on the ranch. And while they may joke about their relationship Sienna can't help the fact that she is indeed attracted to her husband.
And when it seems like he's saying goodbye she is ready to fight to stay with the only man she'll ever trust.
