Mansplainer by Avery Flynn is now live!

As the only Beckett cousin who is still unattached, I'm a shoo-in to win the bet with my cousins to be the last man blissfully not in love by Christmas. Of course, I know they're still going to make me follow the rules of our bet and go on six dates with the same woman—but I've figured out a way out of that too. I'm getting married. Is it love? Not even close. Chelle Finch needs a temporary husband and I need to win this bet. We agree to put a ring on it knowing that in six months this marriage of convenience will end in divorce. Except, somehow dating my wife has me realizing that I don't ever want to take this ring off if it means losing her.

What does the guy who can talk his way out of anything have to do to sweet talk his temporary wife into forever?

My Review

Mansplainer
by Avery Flynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nash was quite the surprise! His mansplaining throughout the first two books was annoying but to finally learn what shaped him to be this way was pretty interesting. And I ended up liking him a lot.

Chelle was interesting as well. Her upbringing made her a bit closed off, especially from men who tell her what to do. Same girl, same.

We learn that Nash has known all along his grandmother's plan for the last Christmas gift. And he perfectly positioned himself to win by entering this marriage of convenience with Chelle Finch. He'll follow all the rules they set with his temporary wife because there's no way he'll develop feelings between now and Christmas.

They both agree that this is only temporary so she can keep the foundation she runs and he can win the contest. What he wasn't counting on was how attracted he'd be to his wife. He thought that scratching that itch would be enough but now he'll have to find a way to convince her with forever.

Thank you so much to the author, the publisher and Grey's Promo for this ARC to review.
