My rating: 4 of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it. This slow-burn age gap has plenty going on, while their romance moved at a slower pace there was plenty of action going on as Thomas works to keep Katie safe.

Thomas meets a young woman in a coffee shop. And before he knows it, he's head over heels. She leads a sheltered life but it doesn't stop her from agreeing to spend some time with the hot British guy. Both are holding back from really talking about themselves because they have secrets neither is willing to share.

And when he learns the truth about who she is, he wants to be angry with her, but he doesn't care because there's no way he's letting her go now.
