Theodora Taylor never disappoints.
There is plenty of angst and distrust. Waylon and Amira both had tough upbringings and of course, that has shaped who they are now. And why Waylon is so possessive.

Amira has always had a plan. Marry a doctor and settle in the suburbs.

But before all that happens, she runs to her foster brother's side to help someone in need of medical attention. Now she has a biker handcuffed to her bed as he recovers.

When he correctly guesses a problem in her previous relationships, he offers to help her overcome her issues. She knows she should say no but every time she's near him she can't think straight.

A few months later, she's about to marry her doctor fiance, and guess who's there?
And he doesn't look happy.
