Loved this book so much. This couple spends a good amount of time getting to know each other and building trust. Neither doubt their attraction to one another much. The main priority is keeping Alice and her daughter safe. Along the way, they form a found family with other characters and some puppies.
From the moment Morris, VP of his yet unnamed MC, spots the woman in the yoga pants he knows she's on the run from someone. When he figures out that she's running with her child he gives her his number telling her to call if she needs him.
Alice had planned her escape from her abusive husband but everything that could go wrong has. So when her car breaks down she does something she thought she would, call the handsome biker who offered to help her.
When her ex figures out that she's left him. Morris knows they'll have to face her ex in order for them to move forward.
