This Week

Thankfully after a bit of procrastinating, I'm wrapping up the books today.  The boy was on spring break all week. But we got some bad news early in the week, an old family friend passed away. I made Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole that morning as our comfort food. The teenager ate almost the whole dish.
I caught up on a few shows last night.

  1. That's a great selection of books. I have quite a few Aleatha Romig books on my kindle but haven't read any yet - I must get around to them! I hope you enjoy the Kitty Thomas freebie - she's one of my favourite authors. I grabbed the Julia Sykes book too - I loved her Impossible series but haven't read her for a few years now. Have a great week and happy reading.

    1. I love Kitty Thomas, I got Gulity Pleasures not that long ago and loved it.
      FYI...Aleatha loves cliffhangers!
      Have a great week too!

  3. It's amazing how much a teenager can eat. :) I'll have to check out your review of The Resting Place as I've been meaning to try that writer.

  4. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Alicia. :( That's sobering news. Sounds like the comfort food breakfast was totally needed. I've yet to read anything by Skye Warren and definitely need to try her at some point.

    1. Thnak you, It was definitely needed.
I 've only read the Rochester Trilogy, which I really loved, mystery with a lot of spice and a handful of novellas.
