Finally, the longest month of the year has come to an end.

I didn't read as much as I usually do. 

Being out of my home and then having to shuttle back and forth to shower (we didn't have gas) made it impossible to keep up with my reading.


I read a total of 10 books.

I tried savoring them as much as possible, especially with my Mom and brother in town. We went out to dinner on Friday for my 46th birthday. We had Vietnamese and it was delicious. These last few days of the month feel like they are flying by. I don't feel ready to ring in the New Year. My plan is to snuggle up on the couch and read.
