Of Vows and Betrayal by R.G. Angel

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was really looking forward to this forbidden romance and it did not disappoint. It was a great start to a series and I'm looking forward to what comes next.

I kind of love that Ophelia wasn't the typical spoiled mafia princess. I also enjoyed the grovel, even when I felt Ophelia was behaving like a teenager.

Javier has spent the last fifteen years planning his revenge. His world was shattered when his wife was killed. He's going to destroy the man responsible he just never I'm

agined protecting that man's daughter in the process. It's going to complicate things.

Ophelia is not happy living under her father's oppressive rule. Her world is thrown into chaos when Javier becomes my bodyguard. He's brooding and mysterious and she has no idea what his true intentions are.

Will they be able to move past his deception?
