These two are so in love! I loved meeting Lewis and Callie as adults, after meeting them as young children in this and the prior series.
As teenagers, Callie Ironside and Lewis Adair were inseparable. Lewis still isn't sure what went wrong but it's one reason he stayed in London the past seven years.
Callie knows exactly what went wrong; moving away to Paris to expand her pastry skills and date was one way to move on. Returning home to Ardnoch reminds her of the future she lost with Lewis. But it was always part of her plan to work in her mother's bakery.
While in London to celebrate with her friend, she unexpectedly runs into Lewis, which leads them to a one-night stand. Knowing that the passion between them still exists renews Lewis's hope of winning her back and his life back in Ardnoch.
