What a cliffhanger! Makes me want to scream! Who did that? How many more lies need to be untangled? I can't wait to get the next book!

This book picks up where the other left off, Amon had broken things off with Reina after his mother's confession and she sought him out to tell him about her pregnancy but seeing him with another woman on his arm causes her to flee the party. Almost immediately an accident occurs that leaves Reina on death's door.

Three years later Reina has healed but has not really moved on.
Her father's sudden presence in Paris is to inform her that she will be marrying Amon's younger brother. He wants to make sure that she and her sister are protected as he won't be around much longer to protect them himself. She agrees knowing there's no way she can actually go through with that marriage.

When Amon receives new information, he begins to make plans to get his girl back. He knows he has a lot to make up for and he's willing to fight for her.
